Scholar vs maplewood

I am not sure, if someone already asked this
i know that maplewood is craftsman vol 10 thanks to another post here on traders, great booklists btw :o)

but how i am suppost to get it ?
I am a lvl 14 scholar and no craftsman ..
when i saw craftsman vol 10 in the other post there was in brackets
VENDOR .. i assume this means the vendor in the craftsmanschool
and not a normal vendor in Freeport somewhere

without this i can't contine my spells, etc

can i join the society just to buy the books ?
are there any drops for it, or do i have just to shout around
and hope to find a craftsman ?

You need a craftsman to make you these items. In my guild we're trying to get one in each core area, we're still waiting on our craftsman to level up, so it is very frustrating. We've got an outfitter and a scholar, and we both need our cailun paper and maple quills. Blah :) But, in a week or so, all will be groovin'.

Yeah i found out the same :(
so i started my craftsman, i was anyway more interested to build furniture
and choose the schoolar only for my bf ( wiz)

will be hard with two, but i am more interested in crafting then lvl up hehe
and i have the time to play two chars
so at least with spells i will be a bit more intependent
