Selling Stacks or Single?

Hi everyone,

I want to sell all the schtuff I've gathered/mined/etc (because I no longer need most of it).

Now I'm thinking 2sp per stack of whatever is a good price (yell at me if I'm wrong)

But my problem is...Do I price it per stack on my selling window, or price the items seperately? i.e. I have a stack of Malachite. Do I price my stack on the selling window per an individual malachite, and let the buyer decide how many he wants to purchase, or set it to 2sp and he buys the stack.

I want to avoid charging some poor guy 2sp per individual malachite. (and making people think I'm a gougeing bad bad barbarian).

I guess I could go to other people's houses who are selling and examine the selling mechanics myself, but well I'm lazy and hopefully an answer will avoid the same problem for future buyers/sellers who read this forum.

When I am buying via the broker (without running to them) if it says 10c and I press the buy button then I get one unit @ 10c. To get a stack I need to buy 20 times. :(

When I go to the persons house it is still listed as 10c but I can buy a stack at a time.

So set it at 10c and a stack should go for 2s then. You might not get 2s per stack, but you might. If you set it to 1-1.5s you should get a quick sale but may as well try 2s first.

Actually... the satck part of the selling mechanics is broken. No matter how many are in the stack, it charges full price for a stack.

The price is per item not per stack.

the bug... say arrows... 1c per item.

they buy the "stack" they get charge 99c (A stack of ammo goes to 99) NOT 50c like they should.

The seller gets more.

So... if he is not AFK, and you noticed it, you can ASK for a refund, BUT it will be up to the niceness of the player to pay you back, CS will not help you with it. Now also, don't blame them for being scam artists... they are not TRYING to do anything underhanded, it is a game bug AND there is not much they can do about it since if they want to sell say.. arrows... they do not have 99 slots to spread them out one in each slot to sell...

Just do your own due diligence and only by in singles.

so I just suggest in the short term, do NOT buy in stack quantity from the player market (Players and Brokers, standard NPC merchants are safe)

If you use the third button, Buy Quantity, and enter in the amount that they have left over in that stack then you get them all and the cash part is handled properly. :)
