I don’t know how is it on the other servers, but I hate this about Kithicor – the market price of dropped books. It ranges anywhere from 50sp to 2gp. It is insane!
Yes, I do have stashed some decent amount in the bank for doing society chores, but that is not appropriated for books only. If I pay that margin for books, what should I charge for my craft?
And you know the moment that someone pays 2gp or some crazy amount like that for one book, everyone will demand that price or even higher. So just because of that, I do not pay more then 5 to 20sp tops for a book depending on the level and rarity.
I even created a new character to get any book from the IoR it can get and I sell back the duplicates, and I do craft things for free for people that gave me books. I just refuse to pay insane prices and don’t want to see the economy go crazy as it did in SWG. And please, do not buy at those prices.
