turquoise jewelry is your friend... once you get level 16 (i think) you can make turquoise ring which is electrum setting, electrum sheet, temper and coal so you can be self reliant while making those..

at 18 i did a few of the turquoise orbs, and about 40 turquoise symbols at 19... but you need iron sheets for those... go blackmail/threaten/sweettalk an outfitter to make you a bunch of iron spikes and make use of the 'discovery xp bonus' and make combat arts, even if you cant sell them and have to toss em back on an NPC vendor..

at level 19, the turquoise symbols were giving me 2% per combine, and they gave like 5 or 6% for the discovery xp...

discovery XP is very important for "easy" grinding...

She means the extra xp you get for doing something for the first time. It can be quite substantial.

I try to do all of my recipes at least once if I can just to get the discovery xp. With some of the alchemy washes and resins and liquified this and that, the discovery xp really adds up to making a nice easy xp.

I only wish I had an easy way to see which ones I've "discovered" yet! Sometimes I get them mixed up, start a recipe, see it's already been discovered, and have to abort, loosing my candle, in order to avoid wasting my resources.

well i hit 30... 70s for books now is chump change at this point in the game.. especially for how much we can get from selling tier4 stuff directly to NPCs...

im sure any other 30+ alchy's would totally agree with that :eek:
