Level 50+ Mara Quest Bug?

Having finally reached level 50 with my provisioner, I ran her over to get her bag and item from the Mara quests ... only to find that I cannot do it! I am not offered the quest because I do not have the faction with the Marans, and as she is only a level 42 conjurer, she is not being offered the quest from Ingrid to get the faction to be able to do the quest :confused:

Is this a bug? I thought this quest was supposed to be tied to the crafter level, not the adventurer level :(

Any thoughts out there as to what might be wrong? I have not yet bugged or petitioned this one ...

A few of my low adv lvl crafters (sub lvl 13 adv at the time) have done that quest without any problems but, it was a few months ago. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't be able to receive it. :(

If you're below a certain level, Ingrid won't have the feather over her head BUT she should still give you the quest if you hail her.

If she won't respond to a hail, and your conjie is a level 50+ crafter, then a /bug needs to go in right away, because that quest is needed for the Far Seas Supply Division faction for crafters, as well as the Artisan's satchel quest, etc.

I dinged 50 last night with my provy and tried to get the quest. I know I spoke with Ingrid then, after running around looking for Tai, but she just gave me a generic answer.

Today, when I double check in prep for sending a bug report, she gives me two choices and away I go. I dunno, maybe it was EQ2s way of telling me to go to bed ::laughing::

But it works now, and I also tested it with my 53 Alchy/37 Shammy. Musta been one of those one time glitches.

{giggle} Yep, sounds like one of those "you should go sleeeeeeep now" moments that we have all had at one time or another. Glad she's now behaving for you!
