I crafted some of the mechanosynthetic roses for my bother-in-law tonight (skill 30 items), with my own skill in the 380s (over a 350-point difference). 10 combines netted me 3 skillups. :)

Hmm good to know, thanks! That will be useful for me when I try to level tinkering again. It beats making things that are useless and just sell back to the vendor or sacrificed. :)
