I was wondering this. I play on a pvp server (Venekor) and was just curious, with the new update to house moves being that you can now simply "buy" a new house and your stuff will appear in it in a moving crate at the new address, will this option work if you betray your city or will you still have to empty out your house before you betray? And what if another player has placed something in the betrayer's home? Will they have to go into an enemy city to retreive their belongings?

Well, if you count Kelthin -> Qeynos as betrayal...
But I think it does the same no matter what.
And yes, other folk's items are taken along in the box, and they must go to the new home to remove them. You cannot take items that you do not own out of the box.

This may not necessearily work on pvp servers though, as I am not sure that players from other factions are even allowed into players homes in an enemy city. If that feature did work on pvp servers, it would also be feasible for players of another faction to go into an enemy city and "buy" things out of an enemie's sales crates. As of now I do not think that can be done. The only way players can purchase items from enemy factions is through the black market. Which is why I wondered about items that another player has placed in someone's house who has betrayed on a pvp server. It would mean said player would have to risk going into an enemy city just to retreive their belongings,, an interesting topic I think.

True, I suppose. But to be honest, if you're moving simply have the person whose item it is retreive it beforehand. And in my experience, it's generally the item of an alt...

Just paid my Kelethinian's rent... the 6-room acorn has sprouted another vault/vendor slot as well, so it's now 6 rooms, 500 items, 5 vendor/vault slots. (The last two to match the 'big' Neriak house, I'm guessing.)
