When you create this it says one charge so is it a use it once and remake it item or is it on a timer?

We have found the menderbot allows one use per zone-in. After you log out or move to another zone, the menderbot is recharged.

I was very surprised to see this reply. I always assumed that the mender bot was a one use item. Do you think it is supposed to recharge with every zone?

See, if it is intended to work that way, it would be worth the initial high cost to buy one. In fact, it would be an essential purchase for any guild/raid - if you never lose it and don't have to pay to recharge it.

I would definately think its intentional that it behaves that way. Otherwise it's cost, AND the fact that you have to pay more to repair using it would mean no one would ever use it.

Especially when you consider that folks with a lot of fabled gear are already nearing or passing the 30g / full repair threshold of repair kits (I know you can only repair up to 40% with them, but armor is effective no matter what % so it doesnt matter).

i have heard alot of rumors about this item
i have heard that only a tinker can use it
i have heard that the tinker gets the money that the bot is paid
is this correct?
im at 210/215 in tinkering

From what I know...

Only a tinkerer of the appropriate skill can use it
The money is lost -- the tinker doesn't get it
