Heya guys...long time lurker, first time poster...

I've been enjoying the new expansion and have a few questions regarding the housing situation in Kelethin; for those who are "in the know".

1. The very basic 5sp apartment...I know it gives you 2 broker slots...but can you put any containers in it? A little while back I recieved as a veteran award a 40 slot container that cuts broker commission by 50%...would like to put it to good use...but I have never been a big broker seller...now I would like to dab into the market...but trying to come up w/ the best bang for my buck apartment....would it be the basic apartment...or should I go for a more expensive apartment? If the latter, any suggestions? I am so far behind the power curve when it comes to Kelethin housing its unreal....

Any advice what-so-ever would be greatly appreciated!

Any available broker slots allow for containers to be put in them. Unless you plan on selling 80+ items at the same time right off the bat, I'd suggest that newbie housing, using the veteran reward in one slot and a high-end crafted salesman's crate or large strongbox in the other slot.

If you want folks to be able to totally bypass the broker fee by visiting your home, you first drop the vet reward case and/or any of the salesman's crate and other specialty broker containers in your broker slots.

Then, from inside your home, using the bulletin board, if you right click on those containers in the broker window, you get a chance to place the item in your home. This visibly-placed display, in a home that is current on rent at the time, is what allows folks to shop from your home, and save themselves broker fees.

You might want to also check out the Buying and Selling from the Consignment Market (http://eq2.eqtraders.com/articles/article_page.php?article=g27&menustr=040000000000) on the main site for more information.

Hope that helps, and welcome to delurking! :)
