Greetings happy EQ2 Traders =)
I need a couple of folks to gather some data for me using my new UI Modification.
Users must either use Fetish Nightfall or be willing to use a modified version of the defualt UI's Examine window. At this time, modified versions of any other UI are not available.
The UI Modification is simply the addition of a special "Dump" button to your recipe examine window. Upon clicking the button, your character/you will then /say what appears to be a bunch of gibberish. This gibberish (14 lines in total) contains 90-95% of the details of the recipe you were examining. You would then PM or email me that gibberish out of your log file (you obviously must have logging on before clicking the button in order to get it out later) along with the recipe book the recipe is found in (one piece of data the UI mod cannot get to) and the ratio of products by quality (if applicable) -- normally its 1:1:1:1 for crude:shaped:normal:pristine but can be different for some (provisioners, for example). That's it! You need to just copy the info right out of the log, you don't have to clip it up in away way, lines of other chat mixed inbetween lines of my data won't hurt one bit. I do, however, ask that you only send me the data for the recipe and not your entire log.
I will be taking testers on a first-come, first-servered basis until I have a good amount (probably about half a dozen to a dozen). All Beta testers who submit at least 5 recipes will be acknowledged in some fashion.
The Beta Testers will also recieve a special challenge: I want them to try and 'break' my parser by finding the most whacky, irregular recipes they can.
