basic thread disabled on EQ2

anyone know why the basic thread was disabled? i was going to start making my upgrade for armor today and the thread is unable to be crafted now im stuck with cruddy island armor untill i can harvest in antonica and make yarro thread for my armor ug!
Headach forming must resist urge to put head through wall!
if anyone knows anything about this please shair.
