View Full Version : Missing Armour Pieces?

I was doing some tier 4 and 5 tailoring for a guildy yesterday, and I kept running into pieces that I wanted to make, but didn't seem to exist.
Does anyone know if it is intentional that there is no Cap/Hat in the Craftsman, Tradesman, Tranquil Rough Linen, or Tranquil Broadcloth lines of armour? Additionally, I cannot find the Tradesman's or Tranquil Broadcloth cuffs.
I am 99.9% sure that I am not missing a recipie book. I have doublechecked my list of scribed books a few times, and I'm not missing any of the essentials volumes, and these are all common crafted armour. (or would be, if they existed). I haven't seen any of the items on the broker either, so I'm wondering if the items exist, aren't supposed to exist, or if I'm just somehow missing some recipies.
Thanks,

Those should all be on the x0 levels. But I don't KNOW for sure, I'll check next time I got my tailor on.

I was dissapointed after the live update to see that they had not included waist items in the new classes. We can sew tunics but not belts? also after a comparison of Post update stats with Pre-update stats it appears that some serious nerfing has occured. At least in Tier 4 our Tailored armor is now not as good as some of the more easily quested armor. I hope this changes!

Belts have always been Jeweler crafted. /shrug

Well, I went back and checked the merchant who sells the essentials books, and examined all the books within Tier 4 and 5, and it appears that these recipies are simply not in the game. I guess I'll assume it's a bug, and /bug it.

99% likely that it's not a bug. Look through your tiers: T6 and T7 have all parts. T5 has 6 of 7 pieces for each suit (missing the hat.) T4 has 5/7. T3 has 4/7.
Armorers are the same; missing the same pieces from each set per tier.
Weaponsmiths get a few new weapons added to their list each tier.
I will agree that it's stupid, since one of the points of tradeskilled clothing is to have a consistent look, rather than running about in "Raider's Motley"... but there you are.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that pattern. I guess I won't /bug it then- one of the few times procrastination has actually worked out in my favour. ;)
Thanks for your observations!

The progression is ... different. And pretty much every gear-related profession is seeing this sort of thing, as well as potions and poisons. Each tier, or each two tiers, a couple more items are added in. It made it really hard for us to test this on Test, because we couldn't tell at first if it was accidental or intentional until we started making charts and such.
