sackcloth recipe?

Has anyone scribed the book. I'd love to know how sackcloth is made. Thanks! (so I can begin to hunt the components)

You have to HAVE the recipe to make it. so know will not help much.

Harvest roots... if you get soemthing you ahve not seen before, I bet it is the rare!!! (it is yarrow)

The recipes are basically the same...> EXCEPT the thread, and more fuel... the thread is made from yarrow. Then the sackloth cloth is made from saccloth thread and threadbare(? T1 yarn) yarn.

Thanks! As a budding painter (rp story), I wanted to make/have made the sackcloth painting to add to my collection. Now I know to buy yarrow if ever I see it - and to haunt the tier 1 zones.

I appear to have some yarrow on my character on Butcherblock. Didn't even notice it until I checked EQ2Players and saw that I had been the one to discover yarrow on that server. Too bad I'm not really keen on keeping a character on a server that I'm probably not going to end up playing on much.

I found that artisan 7 book for Machinist armor and everything is made from "sack cloth" which I cant make. Also, the recipees do call for lots of fuel but I still have no idea how you make that material if you dont have a pattern.

You are saying just use the "rare" root spawn for the making of the thread and all is fine? I can see that working as you can choose which resource to use when making items. It just doesnt spell it out but EQ never spelled anything out either.

If you don't have the recipe, you cannot make the item. If it is a rare recipe, you have to either find the book, buy the book, or find someone who has the book to make it for you. The rare books are definitely NOT self-sufficient! In most all cases, to make a rare item, you have to use the rare refine recipe - the normal one won't do.

you need to find the rare book "Artisan refining 4" in order to be able to make sackcloth thread.
