Hey guys Im a lvl 10 Outfitter and I cant begin working with taned leather until I can figure out how to make Stroma Wash, do any of you know what level recipe this is? I dont seem to have the recipe and I have all the books from 1-9. Is the only way Im gonna be able to get some to buy it from other players?

That is a recipe from a scholar that only scholars can make. You might be able to get it off the vendors when you level up you society some. Until then you will have to buy it from other players or make it with an alt.

I've heard many times that stroma items can be baught from a merchant, where is he and what's his name? no one ever seems to mention that part.

Right now we aren't sure if they will be on the merchants when you level up your society. If they are going to be, then they will be on the merchant below the stairs in your traidskill society, where the other items are sold now, but won't be on this merchant until the society has "leveled" up.

If they aren't going to be put on the merchants when the society "levels" then they will have to be bought from scholars+.

What are the raw materials needed for the Stroma recipes? I'm going to have to try to get a scholar to make me some and I'd like to be able to hand them a stack of the foraged ingrediants. And what level Scholar do I need to find to make the stuff? Thanks!

Stroma is made with tubers, foraged from tier 2 zones' root nodes.

Level 10 scholar. Yield per combine is 3 for regular and 4 for pristine. You shouldn't need to care about quality, just quantity.

You can make stacks of stroma fairly quickly, due to the yields.
