Hello, I just recently returned from a 8 month hiatus from playing eq2 (rl stuff) and am tradeskilling again with my lvl 45 Jeweler and was wondering if i could get your help on one thing:
IMBUE
What components / skills and drops would I need to imbue a jewelry item?
...any advice would be appreciated including pointing me to the right forum discussion, thanks much.

Not too sure of an actual discussion, but imbueing is actually quite simple. In the wholesalers, the merchants now carry extra books. For jewelers, for instance, you'll find Ring Imbueing 1, 2, 3, etc. The only tough part is that you need to get the proper extract for your item. The imbue recipe will tell you exactly what you need. Thing is, only alchemists can make the extracts which use the "uncommon" drop - flower, scale, tooth, etc.
Standard imbue recipe is pristine base item + extract = imbued item.
Do a search in the main site DB for "imbued" and you'll turn up a LOT of entries. Or just look under the Ring Imbuing book. Unfortunately, we only have Ring 1 in the DB - if you get the others, we'd appreciate the details! (And yes, they do just repeat, but it's better to get the actual data as inconsistencies do happen.)

There are a few more in the DB submissions forum awaiting addition to the DB
