Login problems

Ok, this happened also on other PhPBB, but now it seems to get worse since a few week.

Usually when I get into the forum via the website, I am not logged and I am asked to log. Everyday, forum say I am not logged even though I use the "remember me" option.

Now, if I post something then try to edit, I get a "not logged message", I then log and get a "Invalid Post specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator" because I had posted in "anonymous" even if I was logged before, so I need to go back in history 3 times and then re-edit my message, hoping it was saved in buffer.

Funny, now I get a not logged message even on a normal post :p

That sounds like the computer you are on is disallowing cookies. You need to allow this site and others like it to put a cookie on your machine to stay "logged in". You can either set it globally (which is probably a bad idea) or set the sites you go to.

For example in IE, go to the Tools menu, choose Options... (or Internet Options...), click on the "Privacy" tab, and then click on the "Edit" button at the very bottom. In the window that appears, type "mboards.eqtraders.com" for just the boards or "eqtraders.com" for the entire site, and then click the "Allow" button.

I use Firefox 1.07 and have cookies enabled, with most of the forums I visit the browser can use the cookie for login, but there are few exceptions, and this board fall into this unfortunately. I will try to delete this cookie's board as someone advised me.

Ok I added the website (not the forum) to the authorised list, seems to work now.
