Can anyone confirm if those combines necessary for Adept IIIs at 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 require the same rare as those used to make the preceding runes? [Basically, does a lvl 50 rare adept require a ruby?]

yes T5 adept III's can be made using Ruby or Rhodium Cluster

if you are looking at adept3's it gets a little tricky. Basicly

1-9 Tier 1
10-19 Tier 2
20-29 Tier 3
30-39 Tier 4
40-50 Tier 5
51-60 Tier 6

So yes, a lvl 50 adept uses a ruby, however lvls 10, 20, 30 and 40 are considered the start of the next tier.
