Pepper

Anyone run across this elusive plant for harvesting? A Packet of Spice is soooo important. Salt is pretty plentiful on rocks, but pepper to complete the packet? These fish are smelling up me bank vault. I'm desperate for where I can harvest pepper.

There's one rarish harvest spot by Malvonicus' Tower on the Isle of Refuge. Or you can buy it from your wholesaler in town. Or at least I could from mine :)

I managed to find pepper on the isle just outside the baracades at the 1st goblin area. Never seen it since. I did manage to get 3 peppers from it though so that was lucky.

Have the wholesalers stopped selling it then? I remember during the last day of beta they'd restocked with pepper, salt and a few of the baking essentials..

I found two Pepper nodes right outside Malvonicus' Tower last night.

I found three pepper nodes in the "third" goblin segment last night - the one with the aggressive brutes.

I'm pretty sure that any "roots" node can spawn a pepper plant very rarely.

I spent a bunch of hours on LoR before moving on to Qeynos. I only saw one piperacae plant the entire time and only managed to harvest 1 pepper hehehe. It was by the tree near the priest quest NPC.

In 4 hours over 2 different play times in Forest Ruins I have yet to see one spawn there. I have not looked around outside in Antonica yet as my skill is still a little too low. Iam trying to balance my adventure and crafting levels so that I can gather my own conpondents so my harvesting skills are raiseing a little slower.

I discovered about 5 nodes of it last night in the first 3 hours of playing on the IOR - got about 5 pepper - so I think its just a case of being in the right place at the right time...?

There are several places the pepper plant will spawn in the Isle, like someone mentioned above. I was there for a long time and was able to harvest about 15 before I finally left.

One thing I did notice about the pepper plant was it allowed 4 harvest attempts vs the normal 3 from roots. I wonder if other rare harvests will allow more returns?
