Will there be a separate Tradeskill Submissions forum (like on the EQ1 TC side) or should we post updates from live into the separate forums below?

He's trying to get it beaten into submission enough that we can start adding recipes and item stats. Soon as it's ready and our fabulous data entry volunteers have managed to wade through the stack of recipes that I dumped on them, we'll get up a submissions forum so folks can help fill in the blanks. Until the database is up, however, there'd be a LOT of duplication of effort with stuff we've already got waiting in the wings.

Are merchant prices something we want? Or are they going to vary too much due to factions and the like?

Maybe a range or a starting value, if they vary (Not in the game yet :( ) That way the number crunchers out there can determine how faction effects the base pricing.

I suspect we're going to have to shelve the pricing question for now. There are 3 or 4 vendor buyback prices per item, based on the vendor greed.
There are 2 tradeskill vendor sale prices for items based on whether you're on the Isle or mainland tradeskill instances.
Going to be a nightmare to track.

we will have to figure out weapons eventually...
as for prices. If you want to give a price, be sure you are giving the price from the merchant in the tradeskill instances (we know that they are set to be NON greedy)

Suggestion on the weapons: just report which class is doing the viewing and (yes, more work) track the damage by class. Hopefully in a short period of time, we'll notice the pattern (like warriors get 2x damage or something).

Um, might be wrong, but doesn't the damage also vary by adventurer level and (maybe) skill level?

Yes, but there is an indication of the minimum level to have the "full power" of the item. I wouldn't bother with anything less than that unless there's an easy equation.

Hi all
Any direction on what kinds of useful information I can post while waiting on the database would be very much appreciated. I'm definitely up to helping, but I don't really know what to do right now in order to be useful.
Thanks and take care,
'Val

And I don't really know what to say. Merchant names, location (actual /loc in game), zones and inventories are usefull
