Greetings everyone!

First and foremost, please do not intrepret this post as an advertisement of any sort. My intentions are to help the community, nothing more nothing less. Now with that being said...

I started playing EQ2 about 6 weeks or so ago, right before they took the furniture off of NPC merchants. I started crafting just like I did in EQ1, and quickly found myself wanting to be a carpenter. Being the curious type, I wanted to know what I was making before I made it so I came here and took a look at the screenshots. Make no mistake about it, a tremendous amount of work was put into those screenshots, however I did find some of them lacking - dark - indistinguishable.

I personally wanted my customers to be able to see what they were buying before they bought it, so I decided to make a showroom of every carpenter available piece including rares. It is this showroom I offer to you, whenever you need it.

What I will offer is Trustee access to Ngreth or Niami, or their appointed Picture-Taking Czar, to my showroom. All I ask is that if an item needs to be moved for a better screenshot, it get put approximately back where it was. I was going to only offer Friend access, but with friend access you can't determine the name of an item.

Ngreth, Niami, if you wish to take me up on this offer please PM or post here with what character name you would like added as a Trustee. My showroom is in North Qeynos in Najena, above the tavern/stables, first door on the right, under Furnituremart.

Currently, I am level 27. All common items at my level and below are on display, including the new items. Along with that, I have an almost complete T1 and T2 rare collection on display. (Currently I'm only missing 1 alder piece and 4 bone pieces, all the rest are on display)

One more final note... While in my quest to make every item available, I have created a document that helps me keep track of what's in the room and what isn't. That document can be found here. (http://www.thesellnerfamily.com/pubdocs/furniture.doc) You'll notice on the last page I am keeping track of what recipies create identical items, what recipies are bugged (Can't be made) and what items are bugged (Can't be properly placed in a room) Please note that I ONLY add stuff to my duplicate list if I make both items and compare them side by side in-game. There's a couple items that most people list as duplicates, but in all reality they ARE different - some only as subtle as fine engraving differences or wood grain differences. (Soon this document will also list the status reduction on each piece, I just haven't had the time to pick everything up and look)

Heh almost forgot - I'm close to reaching the 200 item limit in my showroom, so I'll have to move it soon. I'm anticipating moving into a 5-bedroom mansion within the month, and will keep this post up to date when I move so you know where to go to take the pictures.

Long winded I know, but if you have any questions please let me know.

I can offer much the same on AB, freeport town (citizen access needed). My carpenter is 36 and I've a few rares on display. I'd take the pics but for some reason one computer makes em way too dark and the other can't view things at more than a low setting.

Niami, Ngreth or Moonshade may provide a bit different information, but for the usual case, we would ask that you take a picture and submit to the site, especially for missing pieces. Moon can make most of the pictures snazzy regardless of the original state, but obviously the sharper pictures are better.

In terms of taking a pictures, it basically doesn't matter what your machine is or what you normally run with - crank up the display to max (yes, most of us end up with like 2 FPS), take the picture, then go back to your regular settings.

In order to submit pictures, if there's one or two, just attach 'em to a message or PM them to Moonshade, Niami or Ngreth. If there's more contact one of them for more explicit instructions, or put them on a site for download.

Unfortunately, as I understand it, the process Moonshade uses isn't that quick, so it may take a bit to get everything upto date. I also don't think there's too much reason to spruce up the lesser quality pictures, so again, take those hi-res pictures!

To host a large amount of images, you can use a site such as imagevenue (http://www.imagevenue.com/) then they have an apropriate "thumbnail" link that can be put in the boards nicely.

Be warned if you start browsing that site, that there is a LARGE amount of adult images.

This coming week is chaos with the Fan Faire and such, but after I get back from that and can breathe, I may be contacting one/both of you about items that we're missing shots for. Would save me from having to go farm everything for each tier in order to make one of each for shots for the site. :)

It'd be easier, mind you, if you just cranked up your gamma, took shots and lobbed them to us, but even room access to somewhere the missing stuff is on display helps, too!
