Which quest is this and how do you get it?
Also, the Briarwood Bookcase recipies is not listed in the database, could you post it?

Briarwood bookcase recipie is level 32
1 Planed Briarwood
1 Briarwood Dowel
1 Feyiron Strut
1 Garnet Sandpaper
The quest is called - "Fundraiser Three: Table for two"
its obtained from Deputy Hopple in Enchanted Lands. But I beleive you must follow the new progrssion quests in that zone. Deputy offers several Funraiser quests that all yield recipies I beleive. The progression quests start with Deputy Nettlebrines "Start of something big quest".

You can also get a bookcase with that graphic as a reward for following the "i hate fundraisers" quest path.
It is from the halfer standing next to Hopple
There are a few more details on these in the TS forum in this (http://www.mboards.eqtraders.com/eq2/showthread.php?t=4198) thread.

You can place books in this bookcase... but you will need a shelf. Since storebought shelves are no more, your kind of borked unless you have some still or can make a non bugged one :p Once you DO get a shelf though....
try this trick!
Position the bookcase NEXT TO where you want it to end up. Use your shelf on the wall at the same height as a bookcase shelf. Place your items on it, remove the shelf, and repeat. Then move the bookcase back where you wanted it originally and your items will "appear" to be sitting on the shelf.

Nice tip thanks :) Got a Carpenter friend so it will be easy to get a shelf ;)

Yes that is a great tip. I didn't have shelves so I built on the idea and used other items stacking them up as necessary to get my books at the right height and voila!
I was also able to place things on the Granvilles table (which has always been bugged so that nothing will sit on top of it), by placing a same height table underneath it to stack my scrolls and books on.

Um... anyone happen to notice this has the exact same graphic as a briarwood bookcase from carpenter essentials volume 32?
Plus uses exact same ingredients, and can be made at exact same level. As far as I can tell, the only differences are the name of the item, and that it sells back to NPC merchants for slightly more (by about 5 silver).
So what exactly's the point, lol? If they're going to make this a quest reward to get this recipe, it should make something with a different graphic than a storebought recipe, imo.

The difference is, if I remember correctly, 5 more status reduction. I suppose they thought of it as an "upgraded" version of the same item. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone cares enough about 5 status reduction to even care. I really wish they would have used this quest to introduce some sort of unique furniture item.
