Loam off rares - does it make a rare item?

my alchemist made palladium and coral ink. Gave the heptanoid and ?tetranoid loam to the rare's owner. After searching, I cannot find a use for the tier 3 rare loam. Also, I'm unclear on whether the tier 2 loam makes a 'normal' glass item or a rare one (muffled glass).

And - can my alchemist make some rare item to fit inside the bottles from that rare loam?

okay, more digging into my in game recipe books:

Tier 2's need:
from advanced scholar refining 11
muffled glass
lined poison vial

tier 3 alchemy rares need:
patterned glass bottle
sealed poison vial

Are these awol?

The loams produced in the rare ink processes can be turned into the bottles/vials needed for the Advanced potions/poisons. You'll either need a jeweler with the appropriate Advanced Jeweler Volume x0 (20, 30, 40) or anyone with Advanced Geomancy Volume 1,2,3,4.
