You guys see this?

Apparently there was a weapon forged by a WS named Akujin from some rare raid drops. The stats are pretty incredible. Anyone know anything about it? I'm pretty excited myself! If you're interested check out the post by Gage in the official weaponsmith forum.

I noticed the link was gone... and I couldn't find it again. I wonder if someone decided to keep it "hush hush" about what could actually be done with the ore. Sorry guys. If I find the link to the sword stats I'll put it here.

EQ2 Players does not list it in the item database. Barring any playes site errors (COUGH) it does not exist.

sadly the smith in question (Akujin of the Mistmoore server) does not have achievements subscrived to on EQ2Players so there is no way to ascertain if he has a serverwide first on the item as well.

I would have assumed though that if the item was created it would be in the EQ2Players database and as such they would have linked to it rather than to a 'screenshot' in their own site.

But then again I have been wrong before. /shrug

Sometimes it takes a few days for items to show up in the database. Items are only in there after they are discovered and the database has taken days or even over a week at times to update. I would not completely write this off as a hoax yet, there have been many dropped components off of high end raid mobs that I have seen but do not know what to do with yet. If you want to look up 'rough star sapphire' it is one of them, I have also seen some amulets, bracelets, belts etc that all say 'can be refined' that I am sure are high end crafting components.

My guess is there is either a quest needed to make these items or a recipe or recipe book drop that is ultra rare in order to work with these. I have been trying to find some info on it for a few weeks now with no luck.

Musta been a hoax... note the base damage.....
badly photoshopped in at *(some kinda bogus stats at ) 55*... but the font is too big as well.
