Anyone notice that Paleolith temper has less durability than granum? Could this be a bug? I have a much harder time making pristine temper than pristine granum because of this. It may be the same for t1-t3 tempers also, I didn't check.

What are you using to make the temper? The gemstones of each tier have roughly 1/2 the durability of the metals for each given tier. That might account for your loss of durability.

Thanks Tollivar. I had no idea the primary component had any effect on durability.

Inversely I have notice if I use the gems stone and spam the biggest progress buff I end up with pristine more often. Maybe the gemstones have less durability but are easier to work with. In other word if you are making ink a full tier below your level (i.e. lvl 50 making gaul ink) it is better to bugg progress with gems then waste time with ore.
