Ok - Found teh regen rates listed on the SoE Site < http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=a3&message.id=409 >

But, Have not been able to find if Lower con food/drink has a lower effect. What i can tell, from reading, is that you haev a Max regen Cap - Depending on your lvl. But, not if you regen less form Grey coned food/drink ( Which is what the Mistmoore Traders Channel thinks - But none are sure )

Tier 1 (at level 10) is +12 regen per tick
Tier 2 (at level 20) is +24 regen per tick
Tier 3 (at level 30) is +36 regen per tick
Tier 4 (at level 40) is +48 regen per tick

If a level 40 templar uses tier 1 food they will get +12 per tick from it.

If a level 10 cleric uses tier 4 food, they can't get the high regen, it will only provide them with +12 per tick.

When a food is "white con" it is perfect for your level. You are receiving the maximum possible regen from it, as listed above. There is no regen advantage to eating "red con" food. Once a food is "orange con" to you it will be SLIGHTLY better than the "blue con" food from the tier below.

I hope that's clear!

Food and Drink provide a percentage of your total HP/Power pool during non combat situations (although cursing is the same sometimes, tradeskilling is considered non-combat). High Satiation (all player crafted food/drink) is 8% per tic, for HP and Power for white to red food/drink.

Red food and drink provides the same satiation as white to orange food and drink, there is no penalty for it being red.

I was under the impression that food/drink adds an exact number to your regen values and not a percentage. Your base regen is a percentage but the food/drink only adds the amount Imaru mentioned. For you that may work out as 8% overall, but for someone with a larger mana pool it would be a smaller percentage.

To check this, Lazz, simply see what the change, if any, is to HP regeneration with your clothing/buffs on and without your clothing/buffs on.

Drink naked! It helps you more quickly!! :D

Well, I experimented with the naked thing. I lost all modesty and did a combine au natural , my power, that was 760, became 534, no small loss. I regenerated at the same rate (8%) than when I was fully clothed. Someone let me know if they experience anything different. Interesting side note, I did regen faster (9-10%) when I had 3 spirit shards out in the world. This is the only exception to 8% rule I have experienced with player made food and drink.

Working from Imaru's post:

In the various areas about food it says that:

Summoned food is low satiation
NPC is medium satiation
Player made is high satiation
and some quested/crafted is Superior satiation

The enhancement for regen is
+50% for low
+100% for medium
+150% for high
+200% for superior

based on Imaru's post that player made food is

12, 24, 36, 48 would the following hold true as well?

Summoned (low) is 4 (always because summoned never gets past tier1)
NPC bought is 8, 16, 24, 32
Player made is 12, 24, 36, 48
and the Superior is 16, 32, 48, 64

Am I getting that right?

When I was level 16.something, with 477 power, I experimented a bit with food and drink. What I found was I regened ~4% per tick without any food or drink. Tier 2 food and drink added +19 per tick. Since tier 2 is supposed to do +24 at level 20, and +12 at level 10, it works out about right that it would add +19 at level 16. I'm fairly certain that food/drink add a fixed amount per tick and not a %-age, but this amount varies with your level if it cons above you (yellow/orange/red).

Interestingly, I tested it with my summoned food/drink. I got and extra >2< per tick!!!. So I guess the summoned stuff is pretty much worthless :(
