Wholesaler Quest

Forgive me in advance for asking an old question. I know I saw the answer to this somewhere a few days ago, but I can't remember where. Anyway, how do I get credit for items already in my posession before the wholesaler quest is assigned? For example, I have 11 electrums in my bank. I was assigned to collect 15 electrums. Please help? Thank you =)

You used to be able to get credit by purchasing them at the market but supposedly that got fixed today. You also you used to get credit if receiving them in a trade. May have to test it out with someone you trust.

I know one time I had a stack handed to me I only got a single update, so maybe they can hand you 6 single items at once.

Yes, having someone hand you 1 at a time, or buying 1 at a time from the broker, used to work. They annouced the latter fixed but I bet the former was too. Can't test until tonight (at work, rrrrr).
