Fair price / trade for canvas patterns?

Hi all :)

I'm on oasis and am always struggling for canvas patterns, end up buying most from Fence, though they are up to 40 sp each :eek: thought I would ask you sages what you think is a fair trade? Canvas thread? just the components? I haven't yet managed to lure any sages out using the trader channel....

Strange. I thought due to the difficulty of obtaining ink/quills/paper, most sages would be making patterns to help fill the gap and get some relativly easy xp. I would suggest posting in your server forum below.
You could also check http://eq2.strobe.org/ for Sages in the low 20's on your server. There are over 100 lvl 20-24 listed. Try contacting them ingame and see if they would be interested.

Most should be willing to do the combines for a token fee so long as you provide all the components.

I did several trades so far with a Sage on my server (Guk). I would get a Canvas Pattern for a Canvas Thread - I am a tailor. It worked good so far and I hope it'll work ok in the future as well ;)

On Oggok usually you can find a sage willing to trade 3 threads for 2 patterns. (Or if your a woodworker like me 2 threads and a tapa paper or 4 threads and a quill)
