Advance(d) Craftsman Books

I've been waiting and searching around for a while since the big patch hit test, but I haven't seen any mention of the advance craftsman volumes. The patch notes indicated that they were fixed and now scribe-able. Can any of our friends on test verify that they are in and working now? And if so, would you be kind enough to list the recipes here for us? I'm very curious to see what they include.

i haven't spent any time hunting on test more than was required to get citizenship. the rest of my time is harvesting and crafting. so i havne't seenn one yet. i'll be sure to post if i see one before it goes live.

I saw one on the broker last week sometime. I could not buy it but I could examine it. It had recipes in it for a Bone Bow (severed bone I assume) a Bone Table, some blackened iron item and a few other things.

I managed to get a screen shot of one of the advanced craftsman books on test. Test doesn't have much of a player economy from what I've seen, only 5 pages deep on Freeport Broker and 11 pages deep on Qeynos Broker during the night when most go AFK. The book I did SS was Advanced Craftsman Volume 14 and had the following recipes:

Bone Bo Staff
Bone Strong Box
Bone Chest
Roughspun Portrait (mouse scroll worked to show the full recipe btw)
Bone Fighting Batons
Bone Rocking Chair
Bone Office Desk

I added it to this message at the end for those curious to see what it looked like. As to what any of these items look like, that's another matter entirely. Remember though, this came from TEST, so that means anything can change at the time things go live.

This is great information! Thanks so much for checking it out for us, especially because it cuts into your play and testing time. I think everyone is anxiously awaiting these books to go live, and I hope we can repay your help by posting the complete contents, recipes, and screenshots of the finished items.

My wife was an avid player on Test in SWG, and I know that the economy is very different from Live. I'm glad to get this teaser though!

Well, the formula so far indicates that it should be 16. But you never can be sure.

Right, but since bone is a rare component, I am thinking it *might* vary. Guess we'll know "early this month"!

16 would follow the formula for rares. Currently rares make boxes with 4 more slots than the equivalent tier's non-rare.

off course, note that tier 3 non-rare (ash) makes 16 as well.

Very cool. I've hoarding severed bone for the past couple weeks (I have 55 of them, at the moment). I'm thinking about doing something on a grand scale, but I can't plan that without knowing what I can make. I'll try to pop on test tonight and see if I can find them on a broker.

Hope this clears it somewhat up. I've only come accros one severed bone on test (so I'm drooling at those 55 bones one of the above players have) and I chose to turn it into a pristine maple bo staff. It was a hard choice between that and the rocking chair though....

Well since there are no rare food harvests, there aren't any advanced provisioner books/recipies.
