As i understand it first you join a wholesaler then an outfitter group, and finally at level 20 a tailor specific society. As these groups become more established they offer wider verity of goods to there members. these orginasations become more established by us trade folk doing there quests. Now we tailors need sub-combines made for us by other profesionals or to purchase them from our orginasations. Here then is my question, If i was willing to skill up grind on only the oginazation given quest items from my tailoring community and in essence do there quest over and over could i sort power level my trade guild?

Theoretically you could singlehandedly level up your tailoring society. Unfortunately, it would be neither easy nor quick. To my knowledge the only way to level societies is to do the tradeskill tasks, which at your class society means making finished products and turning them in.

Also the amount of points required to level societies must be staggering as with literally hundreds of people in the wholesaler societies, many are only now getting up to level 10 where tier 2 items begin to be available. So while it is technically possible, unless you round up several hundred friends, it's not likely you would make a noticeable difference.

Hmm yeh i know it would take more than just me but here is my thinking Thyr.

Way i got it figured most folks do the origonal quest to become a member and not anymore. Or at most do it once or twice. I was sitting here pondering what exactly i was going to use to advance my level. I had the thought that i could just use whatever they asked me to make in the society to grind out levels in. That would ensure i would have a steady out flow of finished goods at a break even price without flooding the local markets or spending ungodly amounts of time locked in my room selling. As a bonus if i did the quests fifty times i would be as good as 50 new members and eventualy my society would start selling the buckels and washes and patterns i find so difficult to lay my hands on.

Not sugesting i could start my very own traid consortium doneld trump style and rule my tailoring empire with an iron fist. I just think it may be posible to jumpstart the whole thing and do more than just my part.

I play maybe 4 hours a day on avrage. one hour is devoted to traidskills. restocking my merchent mule and level advancement. If i took one hour a week just to do this quest and could say finish 3 of them in an hour i would be like my tailoring society gaining 3 new members each week and while that isnt going to break the mold for my society the only alternitive i see would be to sit around with my thumb in my bum and hope some folks show up to join my society and level it by chance alone.

Mainly i was asking -- is it posible -- is there a point they quit letting you get the quest again-- Does repeating the quest still count twards society exp level or is it only the first time?

Thanks

Just as an fyi, I've done a workshop task for each tier, and have yet to break even. I've lost money each time. So no more of those for me at least, until they show more of a benefit.
