Sisal roots -- make rare rugs?

Sisal roots are a rare root harvest in tier 2. The rare root harvests in tier 1 and 3 can be used to make rugs (as well as armour). The sisal root is made into roughspun cloth by a tailor., and I assume that I can now make this into a rug as in the other tiers. BUT ... I can't find the recipe.

I am guessing that the missing recipe may be in one of the dropped "Advance Craftsman" books which can't be scribed yet. I'm trying to collect these so that I will have them when they are fixed. However, I wanted to confirm two things ...

1. is the recipe that makes sisal root into a rug definitely in one of the dropped craftsman tier 2 books?

2. does anybody have any clues which book it will be in, if so?

From what I can glean from my Prima games EQ2 book; it looks like it is a dropped book recipe. The EQ2 book lists the rug as level 16 to make but, it doesn't show what book it drops from. The EQ2 book shows all the craftsman essential books but, not one advanced book is listed. So..., I'm assuming :rolleyes: it's in the "Advanced Craftsman 16" book, as it's level 16 to make.

True, but for now, all the Advanced Craftsman books are bugged with no recipes. Hopefully they'll be fixed after the big patch.

That's correct. All the rare materials require recipies from dropped books in order to be made into something.

{grins} While I never ever, EVER count anything in a Prima guide as being accurate with regards to EQ or EQ2 (they're far more accurate with console games, which aren't prone to being changed all the time), especially as they went to press before the recipes for the rare tier 2 stuff were even MADE (as of the end of beta, the recipes hadn't even been created, as per contact I had with Beghn), in this case, it's safe to assume that in the dropped rare craftsman books we're likely to see a rug and/or painting using sisal.

Unfortunately, unless someone from Test manages to get the exact book to drop that has the recipe in it, and is able to scribe it, we won't know for 100% certain until the big patch is finally let loose on Live. :)
