Furniture

I dinged 20 yesterday and decided to become a Carpenter. I like the furniture part of the game. So we all know boxes sell quite well. I was wondering what other people are experiencing as far as the selling of furniture after level 20. On my server, there are usually about 5-10 items ever for sale under the household tab. Usually a bed or two, bookshelf, etc, but all maple stuff so far. I haven't seen one piece of ash furniture for sale. It is worth my time to throw this stuff on merchant, say, 5 beds, tables, chairs, etc? It seems skilling up to 21 and 22 would be quite easy just making the sub-combines like the planed lumber and such, but skilling up making beds just to sell them to a vendor seems like a waste. I guess I am just wondering what other people are experiencing as far as the sale of furniture through merchants. Thanks for your time.

The only time I've sold furniture so far has been to my guildmates. I think that if I were to offer it out in the market more I might have a few more takers but at this point in time I'm not sure that people have the cash flow to buy furniture for their home. My house looks like a storage facility as I tend to keep the items I make just in case there is that instance where someone wants 6 chairs or a bed.

i want to try making furniture too but there doesnt seem to be much interseted out there. Maybe try to make the cheapest pieces and sell them at cost just to get rid of them (gain exp and no money loss).

Veniem how easy is it to make pristine ash boxes at 25? is it hard and u end up with alotta normals or pretty ok if know what your doing? i would imagine as its a final product it would be quite hard to get pristine at even level :( .

I enjoy the furniture and like I said I keep the majority of what furniture I make in my home, since I'm pretty sure at some point in time I'm going to have a use for it. As far as the boxes, I'd say I make pristine about 90% of the time. At least that's in my case, other's may want to give their input as well but very very seldom, the cases where I'm not paying attention do I get a 15 slot instead of 16. All in all I'm enjoying the class.
