Can a Rogue (Brigand) wear chain mail armor?

My questions is this -
1. Can a rogue wear chainmail armor?

I'm thinking they might be able to, but since I have not confirmed this, then I can't say for sure.

2. Anyone got any clues on what kind of light armor will be avaible for rogues later on? I teriblly hate the leather look and want something different from that.

To my knowledge all level 20 scout based classes can wear medium armor (chain base).

To found out what armor is coming up simply find a broker and look for 'chain' or 'brigandine' armor using the search function. Most of the player makable and drop chain armor is viewable there up to about tier 3.
