Maple Quarter Staff

So my craftsman finally hit 16 and I thought she would make her little monk-wanna-be self a couple maple quarterstaffs. So I look and the subcompoenets and it says: Ash Stave

Can anyone confirm that:

1. Yes this is a bug.

2. Maple Stave works correctly in the reciepe?

Yeah if you go look at the known bugs thread you'll see that this is in fact, a known issue.
