Was playing the game just now, switching between zones, and it looked like the game froze up on me. Exited, and tried to re-load, but an error occured in the launchpad program. Rebooted my computer, didn't help. Tried to repair it, no avail. Removed, and reinstalled the program, and that's not helped either. Anybody else have similar problems?

Can't say as I have. The worst I had was the game thinking I was already logged in when I wasn't. I even took the step of changing my password (just in case I had been cracked)...but I keep forgetting I changed it. Habits die hard.

And I just got hung up trying to connect into the Login server...so I'm guessing they're having server issues at the moment, Kesiax. Be patient. :)
I know I'm having to be patient now...and just after I finished fixing dinner too.

*tries to be patient, but starts to fiddle and fuss and twitch and then he sighs and gives up. game too much fun to be patient, darnit! ;)

Well, the server is back up now, so I guess that wasn't the root of your problem, Kesiax. :(

Well, maybe it was. After about, oh, 20 minutes or so (seemed like so much longer :D ), I was able to get back in. Took a little while for the server to realize my character wasn't actually still in the game.
Took me forever to get the lvl 10 quest done (ran through all of the districts looking for some sort of hint to where the final task was. Finally found a guy who was looking for the same thing, and we asked people). Then spent some time in the peat bog killing/harvesting. Then went on to finishing up some of the quests I'd gotten (yay 8 slot pack!), and found a group to kill forgotten guardians with. Was a great deal of fun. I just wish I didn't have to work, so I could be playing right now.
Am going to work on some fairly easy combines (btw, do the tradeskill vendors sell the tin clusters?) to get a couple artisan levels, then going to try to make some decent packs tonight.
Can't wait! :)

You have to harvest the tin clusters...but the merchants appear to sell the interim versions of tin (as far as I can recall--I haven't paid that close attention, to be honest) such as buckles and the like.
I've got some tin floating around from all of the harvesting I've been doing which I can part with.

Pity that they don't sell it, but I guess that's just that interdependance thing showing its ugly head again. Oh well. Appreciate the offer, but I'll just go farm some myself. Almost scary how quickly time passes while playing this. Sit down after dinner around 7:30 to play, and when I look again it's like 1am and I need to sleep. And "Ever Quest" is right. I've got more than I can shake a stick at! It's great. :)
