I have a lvl 18 craftswoman who can't cook. She does great at woodworking and her skills are always maxxed out. However she fails about 50pct time on lvl 3 cooking combines and lvl 10 combines often kill her. Her artistry skill is stuck at 37, will not go up even after HOURS. Her tier 2 cooking related buffs don't seem to take up any power nor do they have any impact about 90pct of the time. Since most of the high level recipes are cooking, she is leveling like a slug now, not to mention my main was looking forward to feasting on her goodies.
Anyone else having problems cooking?

Hmm, no probs here. I actually think cooking is too easy. Because of the low power consumption, I spam all 3 tier 1 buffs every pulse for a consistent
-7,+97 at the stove. I almost always get pristine (or refreshing, whatever) results with no problem.

I'm having the same problem at level 13 - I can't get any skillups even when I cook for hours. I'm keeping all my buffs up and use challenging recipes and nothing. Can't get a highest level quality either.

It's a known bug that Artistry only has a chance to go up when you complete a combine, and not when you use skills like all the other tradeskills. I believe it is fixed on Test but no word on when it is going Live.

I can confirm that on test server artistry skillups are happening during the creation process. Especially when using tier 2 buffs.

Good to hear, Thorik. If you see anything else on the sticky bugs thread in the General forum that is currently "fixed" on Test, please let me know. We could use a light at the end of the tunnel that isn't the glow of a tradeskill device about to blow up in our faces. ;)

Is this related to elm strong boxes as well? I'm only level 8 currently (heading to 10 and Craftsman), and I have no problem with any of the artisan recipes I make, EXCEPT elm strong boxes. I never see skill gains, and can't get a stong box higher than shaped, no matter what I do.
