Unicorn pelt

i killed the named unicorn in oakmyst forest and it dropped a unicorn pelt.

Is this considered a rare drop? and any idea what it is worth?

NP, it's easier to do a search for something I vaguely remember (and enourage others to try as well :D ), than to provide an exact answer that I'll likely get wrong. :p

I would ask whether you got any drops. If that was the only drop then it is possible there may be a recipe for it later.

As it is tho, it sounds like a regular pelt to me.

it was the only drop off the unicorn. i had been in oakmyst about 4 days straight collecting stuff to make food and doing the butterfly collections when i saw the unicorn. only time i ever saw it.

on an aside AFTER i killed it i hailed pathfinder galeris(sp). she had a little speech about the unicorn and how it was the rarest and most sacred animal in all of nature and should never be harmed. so much for that hehe.
there were no faction hits.

would be cool if the horn dropped.

I killed it too - was still green for me at the time.

dropped the same chestpiece that the Fairy Ambassadors do - Im they use the same drop table. nothing too fancy - nothing too sellable since the lvl 10 quests for you're Class provides you with a nice shiny BP tailored to your new profession.

Pelt dropped as well - from the corpse - not the chest. I have it banked too - just in case :b
