Hello all

I am a 17’th level scholar I made 30 inks 20 spikes 15 paper/quills over the weekend. Now I want to combine them into various spells, runes, essence’s. The idea is to get to level 19, :o as well as have sellable stuff for the merchant. :D

I would like to have an idea what stuff sells. I know as a rogue I would not buy a app3 snoop because I get a upgrade to it in 2 level. I am not sure what sells from other classes.

Also as far as jewelry it does not move well pre 20 any idea when that will pick up?

Thanks all for you help.

What I do is simple, though maybe not the best route. I simply go to the market and search for each spell that is in the list. If its not there, I make one, or a couple. Often though, I find what sells best wont give me the biggest bang for the buck xp wise, but missing usefull spells at lower levels. The complaint is spells between lvl 16 and 19 are saturated, but nothing at the lower levels. As a chanter I was dieing to find an app3 Fascinate spell. So, at lvl 17, I still make some and they are my best sellers, even if they are lvl 11 spells.

Also, I find that, because of the bug that alloed scholars to be self sufficient for scrolls, I found that market saturated, so I went to lvl 17 runes instead. Able to make higher level ones and they sold well. Just finding the iron rods was tough. Rather then sitting 4 hours to buy one over priced one, I spent 6 hours, levelled an alt to lvl 10 outfitter, another as lvl 10 craftsman, and now am self sufficient for everything,,,,, least till i hit 20.

Depending on how you value the time and expense in getting all the materials needed for the various combines, I'd say make at least one of everything you can. You get decent XP for making a new (to you) item, and a bonus for making a pristine version.

If you want to maximise your return through selling, then do your research on what is not regularly for sale first.

Thank you all. I only made one spell so far as I normally make ruins cause I am a scout I know what I use.

I made jewelry as I levelled up. I made nearly a gold profit off doing it too. The subcombines usually got me to 30+% in my level, and when i did the final combines, i usually got my level.

I find everything is sellable, at the right price :) My rule of thumb is that I try to sell stuff for about 5X what an NPC will give you for it. I find lots of things priced way over that point by others, but I sell everything I can make by not being greedy. But, I do find that the level 11-15 spells seem to sell much more quickly than those above 15.

I've concentrated on scribing spells - I do one of each of the new spells at each level because the first success on a pristine one gives from 5 to 8% experience. But, as a result, my artificing skill has lagged - will have to start working on that soon.

This has been a couple weeks ago now, but all of the following scrolls sold for me for between 25-30s, consistently, and quickly.

Arch Healing
Auspice
Bestowal of Vitae
Regrowth
Spirit of the Bull
Symbol of Transal
Sylvan Wind
