A journeyman of sorts, an Artisan learns the basic skills of all things crafted. New to the trade, they might craft simple food and drinks for travelers, or even a small dagger or simple long sword.
Don't let their eagerness for gaining knowledge of techniques and recipes fool you, though. Many have created weapons and armor from the unique metals and reserves of the land. Some of the best will one day become masters themselves.
As the Artisan nears the end of their apprenticeship they will be known for their basic understanding of the widespread knowledge of general crafting. They will seek out a workshop or school where they may further gain knowledge in more definitive arts.
