Ok, so I get a task to make 15 maple longbows. Not a problem. I get the hilts, staves all together. All that's left is the bowstring. But there's a problem. The bowstring requires burlap thread. Now, here I am thinking I need to log on my outfitter for this one, but when I looked at the recipe it showed as being Fletching/Woodworking and comes in Craftsman Essentials Volume 10. No big deal. I'll give it a whirl. Load up my friendly fletching buffs and start the first one. Oops! What's this? Stitching icons!? Is this a currently known bug that burlap thread shows the wrong icons similar to the iron bar bug? Quite annoying. And another thing... why the heck are crafstman making thread? :p

Noticed this myself last night, any refines made on the loom as a craftsman pop up tailoring events which we can't counter (since the recipe calls for fletching).

It doesn't for the class whose main task it is to make them :p
I have 2 scholar's, an outfitter and a crafter. What I have found is this:
Iron bar recipe BUGGED for my scholar but works fine for my outfitter.
Burlap thread BUGGED for my crafter but works fine for my outfitter.
It seems to be an issue that is related to tier 2 icon choices. So what I do is this: whatever class got tier 2 icons to craft that type of item is who I have make the base combine. I take alot less damage that way =)

I notice that with the thread too, but at least the loom uses the proper buffs/reacts when making the thread into patterns. The same happens when my poor scholar trys to make an iron bar, but the dmg is much worse.

Yeah, well... it's apparent that the burlap thread recipe wasn't meant to go into the crafstman books. Nor was the iron bar meant to go anywhere but in the outfitter books. Hopefully they fix this soon.
Also /bugged about 5 misspellings of Burlap as "Brulap" :p
