So on my server (unrest) alcmist are charging 2sp each temp wash or resien. There is some serious balance issues with alcmist. They control the complete market of anyone crafting any thing into tire 3. Yet they dont half to count on any one for themselfs unless making fighter skills. I really would like to know what you think of this balance issue Den mother. We have crafting guilds now at level 9 there still isnt shaped tire 2 tempers for sell.

Umm.. I'm really unsure what you're trying for here. Is this a rant, a social commentary or just a stream of consciousness?
As it seems to mainly be a complaint, I'm moving this to Primal for now.
In response to your comments though, I'd like to point out that the economies of ALL of the servers are only a month or so old. And while I personally didn't like the late addition of the tradeskill related material, they've been fairly quickly patching the holes.
I would also like to direct you to some of the conversations in the Alchemist forum if you would really like to discuss your perceptions of the alchemist.
All-in-all, you really need to give it just a bit of time. Yes, it's annoying and frustrating to have thing not at peak shape at launch, but I think we all expected that. :p Even so, it has been one of the smoothest and bug free launches, so on that ticket, give them a bit more time to straighten a few things out. I hear adventurering is fun. :D

Just out of curiousity...how much can you make using those 2sp ingredients in average cases?
I would guess much much more.
As Zend said, if they are too high, it will even out and prices will go down, if too low, they will go higher. The market takes time to stabalize.
Every crafter seems to have items that are very high priced, or thought of by others.
How much does an 8 slot bag cost to make and how much do they sell for? How much does a 12 slot box cost to make and how much do they sell for?

On Befallen the 8 slot bags wew going for around 15+ silver. I looked at that and started selling my 6 slot pristines at 10s. Couldn't keep them in stock either. I made everything myself, it was my first attempt at selling stuff. I now have over a gold peice (in less than 24 hours). But this is just the easy teir 1 stuff.
As people level up and can produce bigger and better stuff the market should even out a bit. Teir 1 oil/resin/temper/wash going for 2s each won't work when the bags sell for 10-15s. Particularly when any tradeskiller can make these on their own. Teir 2 may be a different story. You should be able to charge enough for a teir 2 (or higher) bag or box to include the price of 4 (or 5, I forget now) alchemy items. If the price of the alchemy item goes, the price of the finished goods will go up.
That being said, with a little effort you can get an alt to level 10-15 in alchemy. Higher than that is a different story. I think a lot of people will have alt alchemists in their teens before long. In the long run it would be a real commitment to keep an alt at a tradeskill level on par with the tradeskill level of your main. Especially if you are also keeping the adventure level on the main up as well.

*Note I use wash to denote temper/oil/wash/resin for simplicity
I don't blame the players. I blame the system.
HOWEVER... If they made it so that alchmist had to rely on someone to make everything have you thought about what that would mean?
A: They would charge more
B: There would be less of the washes you need.
C: If you built that class like you built the rest then to make Tier 3 washes they would need Tier 3 items from some other class but that class would need tier 3 washes to make whatever was needed to make the tier 3 washes... /boggle
Granted you could make washes take something like a glass potion from 1 tier lower than the wash. I am not sure that is a better solution than the current system.
