Hey everyone

3 days ago or so I made level 10 and joined a craftsman society (Artistic Endeavors in Nettleveille). I immediately got a workshop task to create 10 shaped generic elm tables. By the time I logged off on Tuesday (11-30) night I had created 6 of them. When I logged on last night (12-01), the task journal said I had to create 10 jumjum beers and it showed I had completed 6 of them. Needless to say I was perplexed. So I checked my inventory to see if perhaps my tables had been magically converted, but no such luck. I send a bug report hoping to get some assistance, but as far as I know nothing has happened.

Has anyone had this happen before? Is my only choice to eat the losses on that task and make 10 jumjum beers and sell off the tables? Ack, what if it happens again?

Thanks, all and happy crafting!

I have had this happen too, you're not alone; I have bugged it as well.

Mine started with "Make ten tin sconces" and I made four before getting dragged off to explore. The next day, it changed to "Make ten tin symbols" and I had completed four. Needless to say, my room is now lit with four average quality tin sconces.

Same thing happened to me, made 5 out of ten shaped tunics, logged off and when I came back i was credited with 5 out of 10 spells but had zero spells in my inventory. Whats annoying is i don't have the recipe for those spells. Haven't been able to afford the recipe books. Genuine bug. Perhaps this should be stickied.

Should definitely be added to known bugs. I'm sure a mod will take note of this and thanks for sharing.

I guess as an interim fix, since this has only been reported when the task is partially finished, I'd suggest if you want to spread your task over multiple sessions you concentrate on producing precombines first, set yourself up, and then only finish the 10 items when you are ready to complete the task. That, at least, might prevent this from catching you again.
