... for stripping a fantasy RPG down to a table of numbers so everyone can pick the fastest (and usually most boring) path to a high level so they can feel good about themselves for being the first level XXX rather than enjoy an emersive environment making all kinds of things for fun.
Sorry I had to say that, I just hate that aspect of spoiler sites.

Then avoid saying it, or put it in less aggrivating terms. Please remember that everyone plays different ways.
As a general rule, try to remember (including all those that might reply to this thread!) to keep your tone a bit more moderated and understanding.
Thanks!

It's a different approach - kudos to the guy who did much the same as me :)

Oh yeah, this guy may deserve kudos- but Ariadne deserves our undying love and affection ;) Thanks for all your hard work as well Ari, I have your site up constantly on my other comp here... I hope you know how much we appreciate it. :D
And Taco, I agree with you in some aspects, that spoiler sites are no fun. I sure would like an actual "recipe book" instead of a square non-rpg type windowed list, or a way to easily organize my recipes by level and such like a index card system or something.. Don't shoot the messenger ;)

Again, please watch the inflammatory responses. This goes for EVERYONE.
Last generic warning for this thread before I start taking names. :D

I thought that was pretty good. It's nice to have someplace to go where I can say, "I have a such-and-such, and I have 1000 recipes in my recipe book, so how do I find what to do with it?"

Once the DB here is complete, you will (I believe) be able to do that.

Its painfully obvious you cannot make money as a level 1 - 9 cook by looking at this database. Money making food recipes dont start until 10.

Working on an application just like you want, Strider. Just have to find the time to get the actual input pages done so I don't have to enter the data by hand into my tables. Once I have a few good recipe's, I'll post up the site for your feed back and suggestions.

Ari's site (http://www.paine-family.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Hobbies/Everquest.htm)
of course my main "how to" guide is already on eq2 traders download page :)
at the moment the figures at recipe-database.com are incorrect because of the price change patch?
