Raw Basil ?

Hi all!

I have some raw basil which I would really like to use as the merchant is charging 36 cp per basil. However the raw basil I have foraged does not seem to be the basil required in the recipes.

Is there any way to "refine" raw basil into basil? I've poked around on the boards but can't find this recipe listed anywhere. If that's the case then should I just destroy the raw basil (need storage slots!)?

From other threads I have read I am pretty sure the Recipie is currently MIA. Just destory it and buy the refined from the merchant. Thats what I have been doing.

He's right, the recipe has been MIA from beta..

you'll have to buy the refined version from the vendor atm..

That's exactly why mine is still taking up bank room. :) I do keep it in a shared bank slot, though, so all of my toons can contribute to the same stack rather than have EACH of them take up a bank slot.

Well, devote as much space for it as you feel necessary, but with so darn many food sources in every zone, I don't think you'll have any problem resupplying. :)

I just don't cook with basil, that's my solution :) 36cp for it is way too expensive, just to level.

There are PLENTY of other recipes for each level, that do not require any basil, so skip the basil recipes, there's no gain, at great expense, IMHO.
