Trapping for meat?

I am trapping pig and lion meat from Badger dens in Thundering Steppes. Is this normal? If so, I sure am glad I raised my trapping. Looks like I will have plenty of meat to work with.... :)

I've trapped in Nektulos and Thundering Steps. Sofar I havent gotten any meat in Nektulos, but plenty in Thundering Steps. Now is it just my run of luck or are otheres having this problem?

I sent a bug about this just today, lol. As an evil, I just assumed that all tier 1 and 2 critter dens gave up only pelts. Imagine my shock when I traveled to anatonica and found vulrich/elephant meat. I fussed politely and suggested they let us evils have at some nice deer meat, grin.
Course (puts on character's hat), those lightbringers are probably to fussy to actually have to kill or fish for meat.

I have no problem with findding meat in den unless i am doing a wholesalers task. I just see it as Momma critter left some meat in thier for her little ones. Just a good mother looking out for her kids :D

I was picturing small woodland creatures attacking large mammals 20 times their size and dragging them back to the den, rather like the Monty Python rabbit :p

Hi Yall , I was hoping to find elephant, vulrich , and deer meat. I appologize if the answer was posted already. but it is in steppes dens ? if there is a post about it a friendly pointer would help :) Happy baking every one.

Vulrich and elephant meat both come from the antonica trapping nodes (but strangely, not from the commonlands trapping nodes--I smell bug). I haven't seen deer meat from a trapping node. Actually, I haven't seen deer meat (except off the wholesaler vendor) period. The deer in commonlands only drop pelts for me.

The deer in forest ruins drop meat occasionally.

The lack of deer meat has been posted about before, and I believe is a bug in game.

Yeah, this is why it took me by surprise when I hit TS and started foraging meat from traps. Commonlands where I grew up had NO meat coming from those traps, so it was unexpected.
