I'd like to know the "in game" usefulness of the Craftsman and their subclasses please, if you would be so kind :) What types of things they can make that are helpful or needed in world. Thank you very much.

I've been doing Paper, quills, and burlap patterns the last few days for people. I plan on going wood worker to do shields and totems mainly thou. So far I am thrilled to see my trade goods being more then just low level vendor fodder gaining only some of my coin an time back. The stuff I have made is all useful and well stated. If the growth trend continues I will defiantly be sticking with not only eq2 but the trade skills.

Thanks for the info, I just don't want to choose a profession that is really not "needed" by folks.

The way things are, there is intended to not be ANY class that doesn't make something another class needs. I don't know if this 100% true, but it's still early and they're still tweaking.
