Making rawhide leather without pattern??

Hi guys!

Have been browsing this forum for some time now, but thought I finnally post this question. I have searched the forums, yet nothing matches what I seek.

To make Rawhide armor, for example Rawhide wrist piece, according to recepie I need a "Generic pattern" not like "Generic threadbare pattern" just "Generic pattern" but I cant find it anyway. I even made a Craftsman just to check their books, and its not listed in craftsmans essentials 10-20.

Is there something Im missing here, or is it not in game?

The generic threadbear pattern is the pattern you are looking for, the name dosnt match but its the right one.

Generic patern means that any patern will fit the need, like organic material in alchmey stuff.

Thanks a ton guys, that explains it lol.

I thought it was some other recepie, as we get both threadbare pattern (as in threadbare items, and Burlap pattern, as in Burlap items hehe)

I checked last night, be careful this recipe will just as happily consume a burlap pattern as it will a threadbare one.
