can not forest mine

is anyone else have the problem of lacking the skill to forest, mine any where other then lowbe zones

As mentioned elsewhere on the site, you need to be at least a skill level of 40 to forest and mine in the tier 2 zones.

you need skills of at least 40 (46+ for gathering) to collect in other than tier 1 newbie zones.

This is a common question. You need to have at least a base skill of 40 to forest, mine, trap in any of the Tier 2 zones (such as Antonica), and at least a skill of 50 to Gather.

If you make a new toon to experiment with from here on out .. I cannot stress the importance of spending several hours (if not a couple of days) on the Island of Refuge to not only stock up on raw materials before you leave but also to cap your skills as high as they go before you leave. Seems few know or few care about the importance of harvesting skills on the IoR .. and when you get to Qeynos or Freeport you are in for a very rude awakening indeed :)
