A more user friendly version of my numbercrunching.. plus a basic "how to" bit at the beginning.

It's a big file (Word) so I can't attach it. Here's the link. (It's the top file in the section marked tradeskill guides)..

Great guide. Love the images makes understanding everything very easy. Also the concrete numbers are great it trying to determine what buffs/reactions to use.

very impressive. i will have to point people in the direction of that guide instead of trying to explain it all to them ;)

Thank you! Excellent guide.
I have a lot of trouble seeing the numbers myself so seeing them all laid out helps a ton! Also this has cured me of the misperception that only one buff counted at a time... silly me...

Nice guide Ariadne.

Just wanted to point out one error. Dexterous is only +10 +0, instead of +20 +0 as listed. I usually just hit Dexterous every round unless I get too low on durability. When I do that, normal progress is +0 +50, and good is +10 +100.

As and FYI... If durabiliy gets low, I usually just do Binding+Dexterous which results in +10 +50. I routinely make pristine level yellow recipes using this method.

Thanks Arkestr. I'll correct that :) (Was only going by another post, haven't got a character with that skill atm)

WOW, simple praise word but SO true!! Unreal explanations, etc simply put WOW. Thank you so very much.

On a small side note, could the "superb" round you were talking about be just a single number?? I noticed this a LOT while at artisan level just a straight +124 or +104 etc. I am 100% positive there were NO other numbers not like +3, +114 saw that plenty also but a good amount of time I would just get a single number (to the good NEVER saw a single red). Possibly this is what you mean? /shrug just curious, but THANKS again for the wonderful guide :)

The highest level that I know of is 0,+100. If you add for example EXPERIMENT to that round you would have gotten an extra +21 Progress (for the cost of medium Power) and your result would have been 0,+121. Could have been a different number, that is just from Alchemy.
